You can soak up sunshine on pristine beaches and golf on world-class courses. The summer months can get hot and humid during the day, but you can still play golf and tennis in the morning, go to the pool or beach in the afternoon and out to dinner in the evening without any major discomfort at all. Here's a list of what hot and what's not:

Patch Reef Park is 55 acres of passive and active recreation facilities, which include a community center, softball & baseball fields, soccer & football fields, basketball courts, fitness trail, children's playground, picnic pavilions and tennis courts. The Community Center offers a variety of classes, activities and special events for all ages. Pirates Cove Playground has a huge pirate ship for great adventures. Hot weather is cool when you turn on the waterspouts that shoot water on the kids while the ship's mast and palm trees shower then with more water! There are sling swings and a tire swing too. Little pirates, ages 2 to 5, have a slide, climbing station and swings. The Electronic Playground is an interactive computer controlled design that combines the excitement of digital gaming and an outdoor playground.

The adult agenda also has some exciting attractions, which may include younger members of the family - it's up to you. Fishing on-shore and offshore is fun for any angler. Locals know that the Boca Inlet it a great spot for fishing, where you can catch Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Pompano, Snapper, Permit, Blue Runners, Bluefish, Barracuda, Croakers and more. Also, the nearby Hillsboro, Boynton Beach, and Lake Worth Inlets are great for fishing. However, charter a boat and you're in for a fantastic experience. The Gulf Stream is 5 minutes from the beach - the closest big-game fishing anywhere in the United States. You can catch sailfish, mahi-mahi, tuna, king mackerel, wahoo, grouper, giant sharks, barracuda, snapper, all in sight of the beach. Boating is relaxing, yet so much fun. Whether you want to rent a small boat for waterskiing, diving, fishing, dock & dining or just cruising up and down the Intracoastal you will have the time of your life with so many local rentals available. Of course, you could rent a massive 150-ft. yacht for a party or special event and enjoy the experience of a lifetime (without the expense of owning and maintaining one).

Golf and Tennis Clubs may be what Boca Raton is best known for and there are several public venues for you to play on, such as Boca Dunes, Boca Raton Executive, Boca Raton Municipal, Red Reef, and Southwinds. There are even some children's programs to get your kids involved in the game. There are also dozens of public tennis courts around town, especially in the parks - and there are dozens of parks for your enjoyment. Boca Raton Parks & Recreation is fun for the whole family. Most parks with beach access have covered picnic areas and bathrooms on site for your convenience. Red Reef Park is a favorite of many. This 67-acre oceanfront park, which includes the 20-acre Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, also has its own waterfront golf course! Red Reef offers swimming, sunbathing, surf casting and strolling over the dunes along a boardwalk. The most notable feature is the man-made reef about 10 feet off shore, where even novice snorkelers can catch spot tropical fish, turtles, and eels providing the reef isn't buried in sand.

Well, those are just a few things to do in Boca Raton. Beautiful beaches and parks, golf courses, tennis clubs, plenty of family fun, plus great restaurants, hot nightlife, live music and so much more to see and do you will never get bored in Boca Raton.
